Datacenter One GmbH (\u201cDatacenter One\u201d), a portfolio company of Star Capital, has sold German based Globalways GmbH (\u201cGlobalways\u201d) to Relined Fiber Network GmbH (\u201cRelined\u201d), a subsidiary of Netherlands based transmission system operator TenneT.<\/p>\n
The acquisition will enable Relined to further expand its German footprint, complement its current service offering and strengthen its existing German fibre optic engagement by adding Globalways\u2019 state-of-the-art metro-network and highly attractive B2B client base in the Stuttgart metropolitan area.<\/p>\n
HHP provided full sell-side advise to management and shareholders of Globalways in a competitive, two stage auction process, achieving a successful outcome for the sellers despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
This marks the second sell-side transaction in the fibre optic infrastructure space HHP advised on in 2020, after already advising on the sale of Northern Access to DBAG, and is a testament of HHP\u2019s strong knowledge and relationships in this space.<\/p>\n
