E-Fiber Exploitatie B.V. (\u201cE-Fiber\u201d), the 3rd largest fibre-to-the-home (\u201cFTTH\u201d) network owner in the Netherlands was acquired by Open Dutch Fiber B.V. (\u201cODF\u201d), a portfolio company of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (\u201cKKR\u201d) and Digital Transformation Capital Partners (\u201cDTCP\u201d).<\/p>\n
E-Fiber was majority owned by Arcus Infrastructure Partners (\u201cArcus\u201d) since May 2018. During its ownership, E-Fiber has grown its business by more than 7x in terms of homes passed. <\/p>\n
E-Fiber complements the strategic focus of ODF to not only continue rolling out fibre in urban and semi-urban areas but also in less dense areas across the Netherlands. Both companies will benefit from a complimentary footprint and various synergies. <\/p>\n
